Greetings Elwood Park Baptist Church,
Church leadership met concerning how we move forward during this time as a church body. It has been decided that starting March 22nd, 2020, we are suspending all physical onsite church services and activities until May 1st, 2020. This is with an exception of any administrative needs. There is a tentative review meeting scheduled for April 7th at 6:30 pm to discuss any further changes that need to be made at that time.
While we will not be meeting physically on our church campus I will continue to preach a Sunday morning message at 11am live on our Facebook page, as well as lead a time of prayer on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. By joining my live feed on Wednesday nights you have the opportunity to message and communicate with me and others watching within the feed.
I hope that you make plans to join me for these times. If you need help getting this set up at your home, please contact me and let me know. I will gladly walk you through the process and make sure you are able to be connected with your church family.
These videos will also be available on our YouTube page as soon as I can get them posted for those who do not have Facebook.
Many of you have already asked an important question about tithes. How do we get those to the church? Do we mail them in or will there be a place to take them to? To quickly answer this, the finance team will be meeting 3/19/20 to address this issue and we will get answers to these questions following that meeting.
Guys, our God has not been caught by surprise and He is still on the throne! Let us all trust in the Lord!
Again, if you need help, please call me! Although we are not meeting physically onsite, I am still your pastor and it is my calling and joy to serve you.
